Green Bin Survey

We carried out a Green Bin survey to see what green waste was going into our bins . We put on some gloves and got to work . First we sorted the green waste into four groups; paper, plastic, cartons and non-recyclables.

Then we counted how many of each type of rubbish we had. 

We recorded our findings on the whiteboard. We were not happy with the amount of rubbish in our green bin. We know that we can do better than that!

So, we worked together to come up with four simple rules to reduce the amount of waste in our green bin. Aren't we clever!
