Christmas Art

We made snowmen out of clay. We painted them white and used felt to make noses and scarves.

We made our own Christmas cards in Room 14. We printing a Christmas tree onto card using foam and acrylic paint. 

When they were dry we decorated our cards with glitter. We wrote a message in our cards for someone we love.

Santa Claus Is Coming To Town!

Santa came to visit us in Scoil Mhuire today. We all wore the Christmas colours (red, white and green) to welcome him. We sang him some songs for Santa, and he sang one for us. He played his tin whistle too. When Santa left we had a Christmas party in our classroom.
We had a great day!

We Are Authors!

We have just finished writing our own stories in our groups. We did a great job. We learned that all stories must have the following parts:

• Who? (Characters) 
• Where? (A setting)
• When? 
• A Problem 
• A Solution
